"Roots" Art Exhibition Captivated The World's Elite At The South African High Commission on the 3rd of December 2021, a few days away from the 8th anniversary of the death of Nelson Mandela.

The artwork included paintings of iconic figures such as Nelson Mandela, Chris Hani, Oliver Tambo, Albertina Sisulu - amazing eclectic art of international, rapidly rising star and creative entrepreneur Peter Jonas at The South African High Commission in Trafalgar Square.

Rebeca Riofrio, a creative powerhouse in her own right has also traveled the arduous journey to reach the upper echelons of political and creative influence. It is this naturally pragmatic approach to support others’ creative expression that led her to support Peter Jonas’ much vaunted Art event. The exhibition entitled ‘Roots’ was the first of a series of a movement for global art shows to support creative opportunities and each country’s cultural diversity in various embassies or national cultural equivalent.

The ‘vernissage’ held in London was orchestrated by internationally publicly acclaimed coaches, Harry Sardinas and Lily Patrascu of " Speakers are Leaders" and "Brand For Speakers". Their consummate professionalism and focused support, created a really memorable event. In attendance were several ambassadors, the consul of Colombia, ultra high networth individuals, philanthropists, globally recognised artists, filmmakers, fashion models and friends.

With caviar, canapés and fine wine served all night the art aficionados and well heeled guests were also evidently blown away by Peter Jonas’ latest oeuvre of old and newer works, based on their reactions as they arrived and entered the Gallery. This one off show was held with the kind support of the South African High Commissioner, Ms. Nomatemba Tambo.

The ambience and strong creative energy was not diminished by the clear agenda to support an Autism charitable initiative in Africa under the guidance of philanthropist and art collector Jon Bowles. Art investors were in for a treat with recent prices illustrating significant increases in its value proposition as an asset class. The artist’s background with Hedge funds and Asset management in Mayfair makes him uniquely predisposed to securing the best notional investment opportunities whilst still being grounded enough to also paint murals in often unsafe impoverished environments around the world.
